The WV Association of Free Clinics welcomes Associations, Corporations, Individuals, and Students interested in partnering with WV Association of Free Clinics to support the work of the free clinics in WV. Review all membership levels below.

WV Association of Free Clinics….

Support the development of new service access points in underserved and high-need communities

Facilitate strategic partnerships and provide planning and implementation support to help clinics identify and sustain viable service delivery models
Advocate with and educate policymakers and key stakeholders on the critical role free clinics play in improving health outcomes and reducing uncompensated care costs
Conduct coordinated outreach and marketing efforts to increase public awareness, connect patients to care, and communicate the impact of free clinics to funders, policymakers, and partners
Identify and secure funding opportunities that benefit member clinics
Provide technical assistance and shared resources

Membership Levels

BENEFITS
Advocacy - The WVAFC is the primary advocate for charitable health care and takes an active role in:
- Being a voice for charitable health care
- Following and shaping health care policy and legislation that affects charitable health care organizations and the populations they serve
- Raising awareness of the safety-net health care system
Organizational and Professional Development - The WVAFC helps charitable health care organizations advance their missions by offering benefits to help grow and develop their organizations like:
- Opportunities for clinics to network to and learn from each other and share resources
- Access to members-only section on the WVAFC website to access clinic resources
Capacity Building - The WVAFC provides members with different opportunities to build capacity in their organization such as:
- Notification of grant opportunities
- Access to donated medical supplies and equipment

- Voting rights on key association decisions
- Recognition on the WVAFC website and marketing materials
- Access to informational resources and policy updates relevant to uninsured and underserved in the WV health care system
